Obituary for Fred John Weiss
Fred John Weiss, 66, of Northampton, died May 9, 2015 at his residence. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Rosa H. (Yagerhofer) Weiss. He retired as a machinist from Trexler Industries, Bethlehem. Previously, he was employed at the Eaton Corporation and as a licensed barber in Allentown. A Vietnam War Veteran, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. His free time was filled with friends, music and his Harley Davidson. He was a former member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton. Survivors: brother, Edward J. Weiss and wife, Louise of Lehighton; a nephew, Edward Weiss; a niece, Tara Weiss; three great-nephews; a great-niece. Services: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay preceded by a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, with military honors, Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home 18037.
