Obituary for Freda H. Hildebrant
Freda H. Hildebrant, 91, formerly of Catasauqua, died Friday March 11, 2011 at her residence at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Harold O. Hildebrant. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Fiedler) Hutter. Freda was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Annunciation B.V.M in Catasauqua where she volunteered for many years. She worked for many years at the former Western Electric. Freda was an avid baker and enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and going to casinos. She is survived by a daughter Susan H. Dress of Northborough, MA; sons William H. and his wife Maureen of Emmaus, and Joseph S. and his wife Cheryl of Northampton; brother Carl Huetter of Whitehall; sisters Cecelia Spesak of Catasauqua, Rose Williams of Catasauqua, and Elsie Weaver and her husband Walter of Bethlehem; grandchildren Andrew Hildebrant, Ellen and her husband Brian Martin, Ashley Dress, Jennifer Hildebrant; great granddaughter Madison Martin and nieces and nephews. Freda was preceded in death by a sister Angela Eger. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am Tuesday March 15th, 2011 at St. Mary's Church of the Annunciation B.V.M., 122 Union St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 9-10am at the church.
