Obituaries
Fredric served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany between WWII and the Korean war.
He was employed as a cutter at Penn State Mills. He enjoyed dancing at the Saengerbund and Timmers Grove. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Fredric. S. Smith, Jr. and Debra, Barry Smith and Deborah, daughter, Diana, and Michael McGouldrick; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Matthew, and Dennis McGouldrick; Jeremy and Matthew Smith; Jennifer, Michele, Mark, and Danielle Smith; great grandchildren; Yelena-Rei, Hayden, Riley, Jackson and Jordyn as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters; Suzanne and Grace and brothers; Robert and Richard.
A calling period will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA. 18032 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Funeral service to commence at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall. We request that all in attendance adhere to social distancing protocols and wear facial covering.
