Obituary for Gary C. Roberts
Gary C. Roberts, 63, of Walnutport, died Tuesday June 24, 2008 at his residence. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles G. and Gladys (Mink) Roberts. Gary was a member of Salem U.C.C. where he sang in the choir and was a member of the consistory. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the Army. He worked as a buyer at Mack Trucks for many years before retiring. Most recently he worked in sales for SKF. Gary loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding with the Goldwing Road Riders. He enjoyed traveling, making trips to Myrtle Beach and was once an avid golfer. Most of all he loved being with family and friends and was always making someone laugh. Surviving are his daughter Melissa and her husband Vince Lee of Bethlehem; sister Judy Corrocher of Catasauqua; brother Charles G. Jr. and his wife Gail of Laury’s Station; granddaughters Alyssa and Corinne and many more loving family members and friends. Graveside services will be held at 3pm Friday June 27th, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery, Lehigh Avenue, Whitehall. There will be no calling hours.
