Obituary for Gary J. Manley Sr.
Gary J. Manley, Sr., 74 years of Catasauqua died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Kathryn J. (Kindred) Manley. Born in Catasauqua he was the son of the late J. Harry & Patience E. (Smith) Manley. Gary worked for many years at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a crane operator in the beam yard. He was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church of Catasauqua. Gary is a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Tri-Boro Sportsman Club in Northampton, the Southwark Fire Co., Catasauqua and the Hokendauqua Fire Co. Surviving is son Gary J. Manley Jr, of Maryland; daughter Jan and her husband Michael Dunnigan of Whitehall, three grandchildren Sean, Shannon, Zackary and Aunt Janice Nervine of North Catasauqua. Services will be held 10:30 am, Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Call from 9:30-10:30 on Thursday in the funeral home.
