Obituaries
George H. Hohl, Jr., 77 of Coplay, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the husband of Linda (Arey) Hohl with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage last June.
George was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Church in Northampton, PA. He was a tri-axle truck driver for Makovsky Bros. and Valley Excavating and Paving and retired after 50+ years of employment.
George was a huge fan of NASCAR, especially Mark Martin. He enjoyed watching The Price is Right and loved his Chevy truck as well as wordsearch puzzles. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Linda, daughters; Cathyann Goedtel and husband Greg, Suzanne Hohl, Lisa Hohl and Sadielynn who was a great grandchild but raised as his daughter; 5 grandchildren; Jeremy, Brandon, Dylan, Chelsea, and Catarina; 9 great grandchildren; Michael, Kaleb, Rodney, Brooklyn, Jordan, Ayden, Hayden and Raelee. He is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy, Martha, Patricia, Brenda, Diane, Linda, and Frances. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Susan.
A calling period will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut Street, Coplay, PA. 18037. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow funeral service at Fairview Cemetery in Whitehall.
