Obituaries
Prior to his service in the USAF, George played Minor League ball for the Griffin Tigers in GA. His proudest moment was pitching a “one hitter” and being inducted into the Griffin Baseball Hall of Fame. Most of his professional career was spent as an aircraft mechanic.
George enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. He loved musicals, prime rib & desserts. He could fix anything and loved woodworking. He was a valuable volunteer at NOVA (Northern Valley EMS).
Always kind, George was a gentleman; his generosity and sense of humor brought smiles to the faces of many.
