Obituary for Gisela E. Boldissar

Gisela E. Boldissar, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away on February 18, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. Born in Breslau, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Heinrich Neugebauer and Veronika. She was the loving wife of the late George J. Boldissar, Sr.


Formally of Hokendauqua, Pennsylvania and Parrish, Florida; Gisela was a homemaker who took pride in her family and home. She loved anything and everything Disney! Above all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren immensely! She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.


She is survived by her daughter Sheila Schirmacher and her husband Roy: Son; George J. Boldissar Jr. and wife, Kathy Jo. She was predeceased by her son, Gabriel Boldissar; 3 sisters and 1 brother.


Gisela also has 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren:

Julee Schirmacher (Sheila's Daughter) Ella and Sophie - great grandchildren of Gisela (Julee's daughters)

Lee Schirmacher (Sheila's Son)

Mark Boldissar and wife Yvonne - (George Jr's Son) Gavin and Aiden - great grandchildren of Gisela (Mark's sons)

Lynn Boldissar - (George Jr's Daughter) Karrina and Max - great grandchildren of Gisela (Lynn's children)

Luke Boldissar (George Jr's Son) - Lee and Luke - great grandchildren of Gisela (Luke's sons)

Joey Boldissar - (George Jr's Son) Elizabeth - great grandchild of Gisela (Joey's daughter)

Gabriel Boldissar Jr. - (Gabriel Boldissar Sr.'s son)
