Obituary for Glenn N. Carmitchel
Glenn N. Carmitchel, 92 years, of Catasauqua died Sunday February 26th, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Lucille C. (Smith) Carmitchel.
Born in S. Allentown, he was a son of the late John R. and Elizabeth (Bensinger) Carmitchel.
Glenn was an air brake inspector with NJ Railroad for 35 years. He was also a Navy veteran of WWII in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors include his daughter Gwen wife of Donald Zefting of Fairport, NY, sister Jean Csanadi of Allentown, grandchildren Lauren Zefting and Scott Zefting.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday March 2nd, 2017 at Brubaker Funeral Home 234 WALNUT ST CATASAUQUA, PA 18032. His viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Contributions can be made to American Legion Post #215 of Catasauqua.
