Obituary for Gloria Ann Reinert
Gloria Ann Reinert, 61, of Whitehall, passed away on December 2, 2019.
She was born in Wilmington, DE, on August 14, 1958, she was the daughter of Dorothy V. (McCloskey) Reinert and the late Donald J. Reinert.
She was a 1976 graduate of Parkland High School in Orefield and attended Lehigh County Community College and Lincoln Tech.
Gloria was a member of St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church in North Catasauqua.
She worked as an administrative assistant at Coplay Police Department for over ten years. She also worked part time at the Lehigh Valley Mall Boscov’s.
She was an avid bowler. Dancing to music was a favorite one of her pastimes. She liked to ride on motorcycles. She liked to root on her favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmy Johnson.
She was fun-loving and had a fierce passion for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. She found ways to find enjoyment in life, like always looking forward to 5 o’clock. Whether it was by land or sea, she looked forward to traveling.
In addition to her mother, Dorothy, she is survived by two sisters: Virginia R. Webster of Whitehall; and Karen L., wife of Dale Wilkinson of Exton. She is also survived by her niece, Alyssa Wilkinson, and nephew, Timothy Wilkinson.
A viewing will be held from 9:30-11AM on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, Pa 18037. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held directly after at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gloria’s memory to a safe haven for homeless cats and dogs, The Sanctuary at Haafsville. You can send donations to PO Box 921 Fogelsville, PA 18057.
