Obituary for Goldie I. Lisicky
Goldie I. Lisicky, 75 of Catasauqua, died Wednesday May 23, 2007 at St. Luke’s VNA Hospice in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Francis A. Lisicky. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Toth) Kiss. Goldie worked at the former AT&T in Allentown as a layout operator for 42 years before retiring. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Catasauqua where she was a Eucharistic Minister and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Hungarian Hall and enjoyed bowling in their bowling league and a member of the Cardinal Tomko Society of St. John the Baptist of Allentown where she was a former vice president. Surviving is her son Mark S. Lisicky and his companion Sally at home; sister Marie, wife of Ted Wallach of Orefield, loving friends Hilda and Rudy Himmler of Coplay, many nieces and nephews and her loving canine companions Clarice, Jamie and Selah. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2007 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Second and Union Streets, Catasauqua, PA 18032. There will be a calling hour from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Luke’s VNA Hospice, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Arrangements by the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home in Catasauqua, PA.
