Obituary for Grace E. Hilficker
Grace E. Hilficker 86 years of Catasauqua died Sunday July 19, 2009 in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of the late Ernest M. Hilficker. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Eva (Wenner) Bartholomew. Grace was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua where she sang on the choir, volunteer with vacation bible school and was very active with various committees. Grace worked as a cost accountant for Durkee Food Products of Bethlehem, for many years before retiring. Surviving are a brother Wilbur Bartholomew, cousin Roger H. Scheirer and second cousin Betty Kish. She was preceded death by brothers Ralph J. Bartholomew and Burton Bartholomew. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, July 23, 2009 in the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua Second and Pine Streets Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 9:30am until 10:30 am in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
