Obituary for Gregory J. Yudt
Gregory J. Yudt, 64, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at his residence. He was married to Jenny L. (Gozzard) Yudt for 20 years. Born in Coplay, he was the son of Anna M. (Honsel) Yudt of Coplay and the late Roland F. Yudt, Sr. He was employed as a salesman for Service Tire Truck Center, Bethlehem for 46 years. A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7293, Egypt, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay. Survivors: Wife; Mother; Children, Donna L. wife of Darian Berry of Las Vegas NE; Sherry "Spud" Yudt of Long Beach, CA, Sheila Yudt-Gower and her husband, Michael of Northampton, Gregory J. Yudt Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Renee Garin of So.Whitehall Twp.; grandchildren, Nikiya, Tyree, Ava, Gabriel; brother, Roland F. Yudt, Jr. of Coplay; sister, Donna Merkel of Whitehall; canine companions, Yudtie and Bailey. He was predeceased by a brother, David Yudt. Services: Noon, Saturday, September 20,2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037. The Rev. Timothy D. Boyer, officiating. Friends and family may call Saturday 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
