Obituary for H. Marian Reichenbach
H. Marian Reichenbach, 81, formerly of Catasauqua, died Sunday June 5th, 2011 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Bruce D.C. Reichenbach. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George G. and Helen (Clewell) Adams. Marian was a former member of Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church. She worked for 23 years as an accounts payable clerk for Bosch Rexroth Corporation before retiring in 2001. Prior to that she worked for the former Western Electric for 17 years. She was a member of the Jessie K. Berlin Chapter of the Eastern Star where she served as a secretary. Marian was a member of the Allen Council #23, Allen Deauceant Commandry #20, and the Knights Templar of Allentown. Marian was active with the Catasauqua Towers High Rise Council serving as the treasurer. She was also a member of St. Andrew’s Young at Heart Club. Surviving are her daughter Donna and her husband Bill Fritchey of Northampton; son Scott Reichenbach and his wife Ellie of Whitehall; step-daughter Sandy Hoffman and her husband Clarence of Orefield; and step-son William Reichenbach of Allentown; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Victoria. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday June 8th, 2011 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Call from 9:30-11am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Cedarbrook Nursing Home - Fountain Hill care of the funeral home or to Care Alternatives Hospice, 501 Office Ct. Drive, Ft. Washington, PA 19034.
