Obituary for Harold A.J. Hauser
Harold “Harry” A.J. Hauser, 67 of Catasauqua died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Jean M. (Deibert) Hauser. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in July. He was a son of the late Harold and Mary (Kearney) Hauser. Harold was the owner and operator of Hauser’s Truck Service of Allentown, working in his family owned business for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy as an E5 engine man on the U.S.S. Assurance, a wooden mine sweeper, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Surviving along with his wife is his son Timothy, husband of Debra Hauser of Northampton; daughter Tammi, wife of Ed McCartney of Catasauqua; sisters Nancy, wife of Harold Steitz of Catasauqua and Mary Jane, wife of John McClellan of Allentown; and three grandsons: Derek and Shaun McCartney and Bradley Hauser. Calling hours are from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 at the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society c/o the funeral home.
