Obituary for Helen B. Tacker
Helen B. Tacker 86, of N. Catasauqua died Thursday April 7, 2011 in her residence. She was the widow of the late Ernest Tacker. Born in Fogelsville she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Veronica (Hudock) Majercak. Helen was a seamstress and worked for many years for both the former D & D Sportswear of Northampton and the former Kathy Lou Sportswear of N. Catasauqua before retiring. She enjoyed bingo games and going to the casinos. Surviving are daughters Helen wife of Edward Rockel, Ernestine Herr, Debra wife of Donald Knauss, brothers Stephen, William and Paul Majercak, sisters Irene Valek and Rose O’Donnell. Helen has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four grandchildren, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. William Falla at 11:00am Saturday April 16, 2011 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Call 10-11:00am Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name payable to the funeral home.
