Obituary for Helen E. Haldeman
Helen E. Haldeman, 97 years, of Catasauqua died Monday March 28, 2016 in her residence. Born in Catasauqua she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Bochnik) Nachisty.
Helen was a longtime member of Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua. She had worked as a buyer for Leh’s and in the clerical department for Fuller Co. of Catasauqua. Helen loved hiking and was a member of the Allentown Hiking Club and had made various hikes through her life time.
Surviving are a niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Stephen Nachisty, sisters Francis Nachisty, Wanda Rowland and Sophie Berryman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday April 1, 2016 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua, Pa. 18032. Her viewing will be from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Allentown Hiking Club care of the Brubaker Funeral Home.
