Obituary for Helen Kimock
Helen Kimock, 90 years, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26th, 2018 in her home. She was the wife of the late Frederick P. Kimock. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Chemji) Palanica.
Helen was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Northampton. She was a talented homemaker, cook, and needlework artist who sewed and crocheted many items for family and friends, including doilies, sweaters, afghans, draperies, and priest vestments. She attended William Allen High School and Allentown Business School.
Helen loved her husband, her sons and their wives, and adored her grandchildren; she always made sure they had their fill of Baba’s noodles and pierogies.
Survivors include her son Fred M. and his wife Christine of Macungie, grandchildren Clare and Benjamin, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kern-Kimock. She was predeceased by her son Michael J., and brothers Edward, Peter, John, and twin brother Stanley. .
Parastas will be held at 10am on Friday March 2, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton,
PA 18067. There will be a viewing from 8:30-9:30am Friday at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037, formerly Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
