Obituary for Helen Klement
Helen Klement, 89, of Coplay, passed away February 16, 2016 at home. She was married to the late John S. Klement. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Wunderler)Lohr Sr. She was a deputy clerk for Lehigh County Clerk of Courts Civil Division for 17 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay and vice president of its Altar and Rosary Society. A life member of the Coplay Saengerbund, she was also a member of the Lehigh County Democratic Women's Club, Coplay Senior Citizens, and the Coplay Democratic Club. Survivors: Daughters, Kathleen wife of Bryan Carson of Glen Mills, Julie wife of Dr. Daniel Henkel of Richmond, VA; son, Dr. John F. Klement of Coplay; grandsons, Evan and Luke Henkel. She was predeceased by sisters, Julia Hadl, Stella Bauer, Hermina Stranzl; brothers, John Lohr Jr., William Lohr, Alfred Lohr. Services: Friends and family may call 10-11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
