Obituaries
Helen M. Boger, 76, of Coplay, died with her family by her side on Saturday February 10, 2024, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald A. Boger for almost 30 years before his passing in 1999. Born in Coplay she was a daughter of the late George P. and Stella T. (Kovacs) Kornhausl.
Helen was an active member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Coplay. She was a member of the Church funeral choir, the Altar & Rosary Society, a pierogi maker and volunteered for the Church picnics. Helen was a 1965 graduate of Whitehall High School and Cosmetology School. Helen worked as a hairdresser for a variety of locations including the former Hess’s Department Store in Allentown and Zollinger’s Department Store in Whitehall.
Surviving is her daughter Kristina L. Libricz and husband Albert C. Jr.; beloved granddaughter Katrina Marie Green; sister Stella R. Schlittler and husband Lawrence, sister-in-law Vicki Ahner; and nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Gerald Ahner, Sr. and In-Laws William and June Boger.
Her viewing will be held at 9:30-10:30am Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay, PA 18037. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Church at 10:30am. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
