Obituary for Helen S. Craven
Helen S. Craven, 99 years of Catasauqua formerly of Maryland died Monday December 30, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the widow of the late Paul F. Craven. Born in N. Dakota she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Anna Lavigne (DeMers) Samski. Helen was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. She had worked in the Commercial Accounting Department of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. before retiring. Surviving are daughter Eileen Miller, brother Eugene Samski, grand children Sharon wife of Paul Ballek, Eric husband of Liz Miller, great grandchildren Holly wife of David Kordalski, Amy wife of Andy Silfies, great great grandchildren Matthew and Rebecca Kordalski and Violet and Brooke Silfies. Graveside burial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
