Obituary for Helene Weila
Helene Weila, 88, of Whitehall, passed away June 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late Ilko and Anna (Wuditsch)Walach. She was an executive secretary for the former Western Electric Co., Allentown for 34 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton and its choir. Helene enjoyed bridge with the Pioneers and golfing. An avid volunteer, she aided in the pierogie making at the church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors: Helene is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Ann Makosky and Mary Bahnick. Services: Private Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. John the Baptist Ukr. Catholic Church or the Parkland Public Library, both c/o Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037.
