Obituary for Helmi A. McKeever
Helmi A. (Scheibinger) McKeever, 91, formerly of Catasauqua, passed away on December 21, 2020, at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown. She was the beloved wife of Thomas W. McKeever, Jr. for 58 years before his passing in March of 2006. Born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1929, she was the daughter of the late Philipp and Johanna (Theis) Scheibinger.
Helmi was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua and the Coplay Saengerbund. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by sons, James, husband of Elizabeth McKeever of Catasauqua and Thomas W. McKeever III, husband of Lowrie of Fogelsville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements.
