Obituary for Hermina Ivankovits
Hermina Ivankovits, 89 formally of Coplay passed away peacefully in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Monday February 27, 2017. She was the wife of the late August L. Ivankovits. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Polzer) Marth. A graduate of Northampton High School, she was a retiree of the former Western Electric in Allentown where she worked for 30 years. Upon retiring, she relocated to Houston TX where she lived for a few years, during which time she travelled and was involved with the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers organization. Eventually, she made a final move to Calgary in order to be near family. She was predeceased by a son August J. Ivankovits. She is survived by daughter Donna Berdan, son in law Robert and grandson Brandon with whom she resided and by whom she will be greatly missed.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery at Hokendauqua Street and Parkview Drive, Whitehall, PA 18052
