Obituary for Hilda "Hildy" T. Tameler
Hilda T. “Hildy” Tameler, 98 years, passed away Sunday January 27th, 2019 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Cecilia (Feiertag) Tameler.
Hilda was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Catasauqua. She was employed at AT&T for many years before retiring. Hildy loved her family, gardening, cooking, sewing, and was an avid Phillies fan.
Surviving are her brothers Samuel Tameler and Karl Tameler and his wife Gail of Colorado, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Cecelia, Lorraine and a brother Johnny.
A memorial service will be held at 10am Wednesday February 6th, 2019 at the Zentz Center in Fellowship Community 3000 Fellowship Dr. Whitehall, PA 18052. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in her memory, c/o Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032.
