Obituary for Hilda Stumpf
Hilda Stumpf, 99, Coplay, died Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Fellowship Manor with her daughter by her side. Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Cecilia (Yost) Fandl. She was the wife of the late Louis I. Stumpf who passed away in 2010.
Hilda was a graduate of Whitehall High School and a long-time member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Coplay. Hilda worked for many years as a mill worker in the garment industry.
Above all she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her daughter Jeanette Galitsky and husband Leon; son Ronald Stumpf and wife Adrienne; grandchildren Leon Galitsky, Jr., Christina Galitsky, Daniel Stumpf and Tess Marie Stumpf, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
