Obituary for Howard S. Hahn
Howard S. Hahn, 91, of North Catasauqua, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was the husband of the late Marion Hahn who passed away in February of 2016.
Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Winfield D. and Minnie M. (Buss) Hahn.
Howard served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1955. He was the last survivor of a long list of Hahn’s who served honorably in the armed forces during WWII and Korea.
He was a member of Sheet metal Workers International Local Union #19 Retirees. Howard was a former Commander for the American Legion Post #215. Howard was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Catasauqua.
Howard will be fondly remembered, missed and loved by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving are his sons James R. Hahn and Roger W. Hahn; grandsons Andrew and Michael; and nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his daughter Elaine Dopsovic and brothers, Edward, Kenneth, Warren and William.
Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Smith and held at 12:00 pm Monday, June 13, 2022 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, 18032. His viewing will be from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Catasauqua Legion Post #215 or Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua c/o the funeral home.
