Obituary for I. Ann Gratzon
Irene Ann Gratzon, 97 years, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Catasauqua, died surrounded by her loving family at her home November 12th, 2016. She was the wife of Peter Gratzon of Boca Raton and celebrated 72 years of marriage this past October. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Brasko) Kavalkovich.
Ann was an active member of Salem U.C.C. in Catasauqua for many years. She graduated from William Allen High School and the University of Pennsylvania. Ann worked as a Registered Nurse in private duty in the Lehigh Valley until the age of 70.
Surviving along with her husband Peter are her daughter Dianne Singer, grandchildren Dr. Kimberly Dianne Singer, Alexis Rae Singer-Weaver, Christopher Michael Singer and fiancé Brenda Borton; son Peter Jr. and grandson Andrew Gratzon. She is preceded in death by brothers George, John and William and a sister Margaret Brett.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Monday November 21st, 2016 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, 18032. Her viewing will be from 11:30-12:30pm Monday at the funeral home.
