Obituaries
Born in North Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine (Cyhilik) Kramer.
She was a secretary in the garment industry for many years. She was also a former employee of Western Electric and the Civil Aeronautics Administration in Alaska.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Coplay and the Altar & Rosary Society; Whitehall Women’s Club; Whitehall Senior Citizen Club; Young at Hearts and the Coplay Senior Citizen’s Club.
Irene loved traveling to other countries. Spain being her favorite. She was also an avid reader.
She will be remembered by all of those who knew and loved her for her kindness and unbridled generosity and endless compassion.
She was predeceased by brother Walter Kramer and sister Anna Hobel.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Vickie and husband David Stockmal and son David and wife Traci Pizzo; grandchildren; Mark Stockmal and wife Allison, Ryan Stockmal and a loved great-granddaughter, Alivia Stockmal and step-grandchildren, Wesley and Alex Garr as well as many nieces and nephews.
A calling period will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay 327 Chestnut Street from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church located at 4 S 5th Street, Coplay, PA. 18037. Burial to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Whitehall, PA.
