Obituary for James D. Moyer
James D Moyer 57 of Catasauqua, formerly of Bethlehem, died Feb 14th after a long struggle with cancer. Throughout and until the end he remained positive and hopeful. Jim was most grateful for the care he received from the nurses at LVHN Muhlenberg Infusion Center
He was the beloved fiancé of Justine M. Biege of Catasauqua; they were together for over 18 wonderful years. Born in Bethlehem, Jim was the son of the late Albert C. and Patricia (Sterner) Moyer. Jim was a 1981 graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem and worked as an auto tech for many years. He enjoyed shooting pool and hanging out with friends and family. He always had a joke and his quick wit made everyone around him laugh. He was kind and caring to those that knew him. He loved his dogs Buddy and Elle.
In addition to his loving fiancée, Justine, he is survived by six siblings, Albert Moyer, Fogelsville; Dawn Czipoth, Bethlehem; Denise, wife of David Bartholomew, Columbia, SC; Katheryn, wife of Garry Tapler, Coplay; Daniel Moyer and wife, Debra, Allentown; and Robert Moyer and wife Jody, Bethlehem. He is also survived my many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to the American Cancer Society online at https://donate3.cancer.org/ or by mail at 3893 Adler Place, Ste. 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
