Obituary for James H. Schrader
James H. Schrader, 96, formerly of Whitehall, died Friday January 12, 2007, at his residence at New Seasons at Allentown. He was the husband of Caroline M. (Laub) Schrader. He was born in 1910 in West Catasauqua. He was the son of Harry and Mabel (Clauser) Schrader. James was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. Mickley’s in Whitehall. James last worked as a Stationary Fireman at the Pennsylvania State Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 1982 at the age of 72. Surviving with his wife are daughter Sylvia, wife of Marvin Adler of Allentown; sister Delores Olesak; grandsons Adam and Nicholas Adler. James was predeceased by 1 sister and 3 brothers. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30pm Sunday January 21, 2007 at New Seasons at Allentown, 1263 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. Allentown, 18103. Call from 2-2:30pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to St. John’s U.C.C. Mickley’s, 2918 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, 18052. Arrangements by the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home in Catasauqua.
