Obituary for James J. Hodge
James J. Hodge, 83, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at his residence in Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Lukish) Hodge. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Karpinsky) Hodge Gossler and Joseph Hodge. James was a veteran of the Marine Corps and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. James also was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Fullerton. He worked as a body and fender repairman for Scott Chevrolet of Allentown and received awards from General Motors for his expertise. Surviving are: Daugthers- Diane and her husband Dr. James Raymond of South Carolina. Patricia Smith and her husband Walter of Catasauqua Sister- Bernadine Unger of Whitehall 6 Grandchildren Services will be held at 10am, Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the church. Call from 9-10am at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Church, 618 Fullerton Ave, Whitehall, PA, 18052. Arrangements by the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home in Catasauqua.
