Obituary for Janet "Bup" A. Newhard
Janet A. Newhard, 82, of Schnecksville, died Friday April 26 2024. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Agnes (Schelly) Oswald. Janet was the wife of the late Robert Newhard.
After graduating from Coplay High School, Janet worked for herself for many years in the landscaping and lawncare business. She loved the outdoors, birdwatching, camping, square dancing and bingo.
Surviving is her son John D. Newhard and wife Patricia, sisters Myrtle Scholl, Doris, wife of Frank Graberitz, Hattie Stewart, and Tina Melniszyn, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Anna, and brothers Richard, Paul, Henry, James, Martin and Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday May 3, 2024 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA 18037. There will be a calling period prior to the service from 10-11am Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Allentown.
