Obituary for Jean D. Gillette
Jean D. Gillette, 90, of Catasauqua, died peacefully on August 20, 2021, at ManorCare Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of Joseph A. Gillette with whom she shared 72 years of wedded bliss. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Malcom and Mildred (Litzenberger) Miller.
Jean was a 1948 graduate of Allentown High School and later worked for GE Small Appliances in Allentown. She then went on to work at Catasauqua Public Library.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, sibling, and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; her son, Michael Gillette, and wife Nancy; brother, Dalton Miller, and wife Pat; sister, Sharon Legat, and husband Steve; many nieces and nephews and extended family in Wisconsin. She was predeceased by a son, Terry Lee Gillette and a sister, Marilyn Miller.
There will be no services. Memorial Contributions in her memory may be made to the Catasauqua Public Library 302 Bridge St, Catasauqua, PA 18032.
