Obituary for Joan C. Luciano
Joan C. Luciano, 90, born on October 11, 1930, passed away on March 7, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Sofka) and Michael Dubrosky.
She was a 1949 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was then employed for Mack Trucks, retiring in 1983.
Joan was always one for fun and adventure. She was a lifetime bowler, attending 10 state and 13 national tournaments. She enjoyed countless Broadway shows and traveled with family and friends to various venues.
Late in life, she and her companion of 25 years, Harold Steidel went on 19 cruises. Her hobby was crocheting, making sweaters, hats and mostly afghan and baby blankets.
Survivors are son, Michael Ivankovits, and wife Machelle, daughter Kathryn Demko, grandchildren, Zachary and Rachel Demko, sister, Sonia Oleschak and husband Michael, nieces, Betsy Oleschak and Kristen Axberg.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with arrangements.
