Obituaries
Joan was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Coplay where she was active with the Kitchen Ministry. She was also a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church in Catasauqua. She worked for over 30 years as a manager of Burger King before she retired. Joan was an Emmaus High School Graduate. She enjoyed playing cards with her high school girlfriends and spending time with her family. She will me missed by all who knew and loved her.
Joan was survived by her sons David E. Lahue and companion Sheri; Michael J. Lahue; Gary L. Lahue and wife Tracy; Robert W. Lahue and wife Penny; daughters Mary Jakielski and husband Robert; Jane Schneck; Dolores Colello; Vicki Steiner and husband Manfred; Karen Haines and Craig; 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandsons James and John, son-in-laws Thomas Schneck and Tony Colello; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday March 26th, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, 18037. Her viewings will be from 6-8pm Thursday March 25th, 2021 and Friday 10-11am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. John's Lutheran Church, 18 S 3rd St,, Coplay, PA 18037 or to the American Society of Hematology, ASH Foundation – P.O. Box 37577, Baltimore, MD 21297-3577.
