Joan J. Patterson, 74,formerly of Duryea and Northampton, died November 18, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Duryea, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Lemoine and Hermina (Leshney) Patterson. She was employed as a secretary for the Whitehall Twp. Police Chief for 42 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, N. Catasuqua. Survivors: sister, Irene Vomero, brothers, Stanley and Robert Patterson; nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2013, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., St. Andrew's Catholic Church, N.
