Obituary for Joan M. Heiden
Joan M. Heiden, 66, of Northampton died Wednesday August 8, 2007 at the St. Luke’s V.N.A. Hospice in Bethlehem. She was the wife of Robert F. Heiden and celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in May of this year. Formerly of Lopatcong Township, Joan was born in New York City. She was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ursula (Guyette) Moran. Joan was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Catasauqua. She was formerly a member of St. Phillip and St. James of Philipsburg where she was very active in the Over 50s Club and the charitable program Food for the Needy. Joan was also an active member of AARP. Surviving with her husband are a daughter Theresa Heiden of Northampton; son Robert P. and his wife Donna of West Lawn; sister Susan Jackson of Florida; sister-in-law Carol A. Heiden of New York City; grandsons Kyle & Sean Heiden. Mass will be held 10:00am Saturday August 11, 2007 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2nd & Union Sts. Catasauqua. Call from 2-3pm & 7-8:30pm Friday August 10 and again from 8:30-9:30am on Saturday at the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to the St. Luke’s V.N.A. Hospice, 2455 Black River Rd, Bethlehem, 18015.
