Obituary for Joanna B. Mondschein
Joanna B. Mondschein, 92, of Coplay, died December 11 at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was married to the late Joseph F. Mondschein for 40 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zanko) Sutjak. She was a clerk for Mack Trucks, Allentown for 21 years. Previously she was employed at Western Electric Co., Allentown and American Airlines. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay and a member of its choir and Altar and Rosary Society. Her past community activities included her membership in the Coplay Saengerbund Chorus and the Coplay Senior Citizens as well as serving as President of the Coplay Sports Auxiliary and and Den Mother for Cub Scouts #52. Survivors: Sons, Richard and his wife Christina of Whitehall; Robert and his wife Donna of Northampton; John and his wife Lynette of Bethlehm; grandchildren, Ashley, Stefanie, Lindsay, Steven, Matthew, Ryan, Joel, Jonathan, Paul and Magdalena; a brother, Joseph Sutjak of Allentown. She was preceded in death by siblings, John, Rose and Anna. Services: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 17, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay PA 18037 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4. South Fifth St., Coplay. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment, St. Peter's Cemetery, Whitehall.
