Obituary for Joel J. Dirany
Joel J. Dirany 57 years old of Catasauqua died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday April 14, 2010 in his residence. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late John and Lillian (Solomon) Dirany. He worked for the Allentown Morning Call Circulation Department for over 20 years. Joel enjoyed running and keeping fit and was always active with friends and family. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity and his willingness to always help those in need. Joel was a loving and caring father to his children Sarah, Josh, Jonathan, Dirany. He is also survived by a sister June Dirany, ex wife Carol Gawlik, ex in-laws Thomas and Jeanne Coogan, dear friend Barbara Jaruszewski, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be 12:00noon Saturday April 17 in the Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street Catasauqua. Call 11:00am until 12:00noon Saturday in the funeral home.
