Obituary for John E. Moll
John E. Moll, 74, of Catasauqua, died Wednesday February 1, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital at Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Debra L. (James) Moll and celebrated 43 years of marriage this year. Born in Catasauqua he was a son of the late Clarence E. Jr. and Anniejean (Laubach) Moll.
John was a graduate of Catasauqua High School. He retired from Lucent Technologies in Allentown. At Lucent, he worked in a clean room testing microchips, a job he enjoyed very much. Prior to that John worked for many years as a machinist for Ingersoll Rand. He enjoyed playing with the Industrial League basketball and baseball teams and coaching little league football and baseball. John was an avid golfer and Philly sports fanatic. He was also an active member with the Catasauqua Club where he enjoyed cooking for their various events.
Above all he was a loving husband, father and brother and will be missed by many. Surviving along with his wife Debra is his son Jason J. Moll, brothers Thomas "T's" R. Moll and wife Connie, Doug J. Moll and wife Dale and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in his memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society c/o of the funeral home.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home of Catasauqua is honored to handle the arrangements.
