Obituary for John E. Schreiber
John E. Schreiber, 79 years, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, October 9th, 2016 at his residence at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John R. and Ethel (Van Billiard) Schreiber. He was the husband of the late Jan (Whiteman) Schreiber.
John worked for many years as a draftsman for the engineering department of Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem. He was a long time member of Sts. Simon & Jude Church in Bethlehem.
Surviving are his sisters Wanda Pietkiewicz, Sharon Parker, and Gloria Erney; brother Robert Schreiber and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Judy.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am Thursday October 13th, 2016 at Sts. Simon and Jude Church, 730 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. There will be a calling period Thursday at the church from 9:30-10am prior to the service. Interment to follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem.
