Obituary for John Jude Pearson
John Jude Pearson, 65, of Catasauqua, died on September 22, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born in Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late John Pearson and Nancy (Barr) Selkirk. John was the beloved husband of Darlene (Eimers) Pearson for whom he was married for over 43 years.
John was a graduate of Newfield high school in Long Island, New York. He was retired from Penn Dot after many years as a bridge inspector.
He was an avid runner and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He loved sports and umpired baseball for kids of all ages. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his wife, Darlene; son, John W. Pearson, daughter; Melissa and husband Jonathan Benfield; brother; William Pearson and wife Sandie; sisters; Nancy & husband Robert Rindfleisch, Elizabeth and husband, John Phipps, Dawn Boyle and her late husband, Jack, grandchildren; Kara, Jace and Max Benfield as well as many nieces and nephews.
A calling period will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 A.M. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA. 18032. A mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Mary’s R.C. Church 122 Union Street Catasauqua, PA. 18032 at 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow at St. Marks Cemetery 103 W Lexington St, Allentown, PA 18103.
