Obituaries
John attended Whitehall High School and later, served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He worked for the railroad for many years before his retirement.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; daughter, Sue Morgan Hoffman; brother, Butch, sisters; Shirley Kerrigan, Cecelia Hope and Mary Kuhns; grandchildren, Jacee and Kyle and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers; Ivan, Jr. and William, Sr. and son in law Timothy A. Hoffman, Jr.
A calling period will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA. 18037 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. We ask that all in attendance adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a facial covering.
