Obituary for John P. Considine, Jr.
John P. Considine Jr., 83, of Bethlehem died Tuesday January 18th, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Virginia M. (Jefferson) Considine. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John P. Sr. and Elsie (Bushold) Considine. John worked as a mail handler for the U.S. Post Office in Allentown for many years. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army. Surviving are his sons Ronald J. Considine and Dale P. Considine and his wife Dayleen, with whom he resided; sister Delores Dorward; 8 grandchilden and 13 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11am Friday January 21, 2011 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, 18107 with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, 18016.
