Obituary for John P. Quevy, Sr.
John P. Quevy, Sr., 85, formerly of Coplay, died December 25, 2014 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was married to Jean L. (Rice) Quevy for 64 years. Born in Patton, PA, he was the son of the late August and Susan (Fitzpatrick) Quevy. He was an electrician for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Whitehall. A WWII veteran, John served his country honorable in the U.S. Army Air Forces Survivors: Wife, children, Susan wife of Charles Jacobs, Rochelle wife of Gary Swoyer; Elizabeth wife of Kenny Wechsler, Adrian Quevy and wife Deborah, Rose Riddick and companion Joe, Christine wife of Peter Boyle; John Quevy Jr. and wife Karen, Melissa wife of Robert Guard; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service,11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. Friends and family may call 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
