Obituary for John P. Schwoyer
John P. Schwoyer, 66, of Allentown, passed away on January 10, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. Born on July 23, 1953, he was the son of the late Karl Oliver and Anna Marie (Keeney) Schwoyer.
He was a 1971 graduate of Catasauqua High School and spent his working years in maintenance at All American Graphic Screen Printing in Allentown.
John was a hard worker with a great sense of humor. He loved the outdoors and especially loved to hike the Appalachian Trail. He was a kind man with a big heart and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by sisters, Linda Schwoyer and George of Slatington; Sharon Landis and husband Carl of North Catasauqua; and brother, David Schwoyer and Rebecca of Ormrod. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Rebecca Ann Bodnar, Eric Landis, and Gabriel Schwoyer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, Pa 18032. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Catasauqua.
