Obituary for John R. Kropf
John R. "Jack" Kropf, 68, of Whitehall, passed away December 31, 2014 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was married to Judith A. (Shoemaker)Kropf for 50 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Louise E. (Trankley) Kropf of Coplay and the late Charles R. Kropf. A graduate of Moravian College, he was employed at the former Exide Battery Co., Allentownand later, Essroc Cement Co., Nazareth. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. Survivors: Wife; mother; daughter, Jocelyn wife of Jerrold Hontz of Bethelehem; grandchildren, Derek, Allison, Gabriel, Emily; brother, Richard Kropf and his wife, Kathleen of Northampton; sisters-in-law;Janet wife of Bernard Edelman, Jennifer wife of Marvin Granda. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Kropf and a brother, Robert Kropf. Services: Friends and family may call 6:30-8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2015, Robert A.
