Obituary for John W. Binder
John W. Binder, 79 years, of Jim Thorpe, formerly of Coplay, died Saturday September 15th, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Dianne D. (Frable) Binder, with whom he celebrated 19 years of marriage in August. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Joseph Binder and Mary Binder Tomol.
John was the former owner of Binnie’s Dog House in Coplay and prior to that was a manager for the former Johnson Motor Lines in Allentown for over 20 years.
Survivors include sons John Jr. and his wife Carol of Trachsville and Mark and his wife Karen of Oklahoma, a daughter Constance Lynn and her husband Brian of Germansville, a stepson Jerry Hudgins and his wife Lori of Easton, a stepdaughter Michelle Rausch and her companion Kevin Behler of Lehighton, brothers Joseph of Jim Thorpe, Alfred and his wife Lillian of Coplay, and William and his wife Sherry of New Jersey, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Jennifer.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday September 19th, 2018 at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Hokendauqua St. Whitehall, PA 18052. Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 327 Chestnut St. Coplay, PA 18037 is handling arrangements.
