Obituary for John W. Rottner
John W. Rottner, 60, of Coplay, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit in Allentown.
Born on November 1, 1958, he was the son of Inge R. (Keglovits) Rottner of Coplay and the late Walter Rottner.
John was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran who honorably served his country from 1976-1982.
He was a huge movie buff who had an endless collection of movies. John had a big heart and a kind soul who never had a bad word to say about anyone. What meant the most to John, was his family. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He truly mattered and made a difference in all of the lives he touched, especially his family and friends. He will be forever in their hearts and truly missed by all.
In addition to this mother, Inge, he is survived by sister, Sandy Fischl and husband, Fredi; their children, Thomas and Daniel; great-nephews, Tobias and Felix, all of Austria; and sister Susie Bischoff and husband, Bob; and their children, Matthew and Nicholas, all of NJ. He is also survived by his loving Aunt Lizzy Rodriguez and husband, Nelky, Coplay; and niece Elia Rodriguez, Coplay.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 7, 2019, at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 4 S 5th St, Coplay, PA 18037. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Allentown VA Outpatient Clinic c/o the funeral home.
